Ripoff dishonest fraudilent loans. Took deposit and the loan never came. The promised refund also never came Tonawanda New York

I found an ad in a local paper for loans to people with poor credit situations. I called the number and applied. Deborah Wilson from M 1 Financial called me and said that I was approved for $25,000 but because of my credit I needed to buy a $2,500 insurance bond on the loan.

I also checked them out on the BBB and got a good report and sent the $2,500 plus a western union fee of $128.99 to a tamika Wilson at direct insurance in Ontario Canada at their "corporate office"

I called Deborah back with the confirmation number and she said that my loan would be deposited into my account within 48 business hours. This was Tuesday 5:00pm so the loan would not be in my account until Friday. The money never came so on Tuesday I called Deborah and she sounded shocked and said that she would look into it and call me back. When she did call back she said that the funds were sent and that I will have them in next day or two.

I waited and again no loan. I started calling Deborah but she was always busy on the phone, in a meeting or at training. This went on for a week until I got a hold of her and she said that she never got any of the 48 messages that I had left for her. She also said that my loan was fro some reason being mailed to me instead and that because it was late Friday night that she could not look into it until Monday and that she would call me as soon as she found something out.

She never called me so I tried to call her and again could not reach her for various reasons. Finally a Mr. Smithfield whom was the head loan officer said that my loan was put on hold because of a second credit check and that if I still wanted to get the loan another $800 would be needed to be put up as soon as possible. And I sent the money that day the funds would be in my account the next day. Because of my situation and the urgent need for the funds I did so that same day.By That time it was already August 31.

And again the funds never came. So I started calling Mr. Smithfield he told me to be patient that the funds are on the way and that it does take a few days. After two more weeks I was very upset and tried to contact my original loan officer Deborah but Mr. Smithfield said that I am very rude and threatening and that Deborah does not want to talk to me. And that with all of the problems with my loan that a refund is being processed and will be sent to me with in 14 business days. I have still not received the refund and today when I tried to call them the phone has been disconnected.

I called and told Mr. Smithfield that I want to speak to someone in charge he said that I cant just talk to the president of the company with out an appointment and that it would toke a couple of weeks just to make one and that he would call me and let me know when it is. Also when I told him that I felt that I was being scammed he said that he wants me to call and apologize to him after I receivemy refund.
