Disappearing Employees ripoff

Attempted to refinance mortgage thru Countrywide. Talked to a rep, went thru application, part of which included giving debit card #, which I was told would not be charged.

Appraiser was sent out, who returned new appraisal $5000 less than last year.

Loan was rejected, referred to Full Spectrum lending, my debit card charged, and rep disappeared, his phone extension suddenly didn't exist, no one knew who he was. I am now facing foreclosure, going to try a deed in lieu of foreclosure. We will see how that works (if they cooperate), using a housing counselor from Colorado State, or will hire Legal counsel if necessary. Will report back
