I too was ripped off by CIC credit monitoring. I got on to experian's website to check my "FREE CREDIT REPORT". Imagine my surprise when I got my statement and found a $39.85 charge from CIC! The website said that if I continued my membership, I would be charged $9.95/mo. So where does the $29.90 come from? Not only that, it hasn't been 20 days since I got my report. The first month was supposed to be free. What can I do about this before I get charged again?
