I applied for a free credit report online about a month ago, and the company supposedly needed my bank account number for identity verification. Identity theft and ripoff more like it.
Here is a small blurb from their online address that says they will at least notify me when my "Free Trial" for this CIC Credit Monitoring has expired.instead, they just ripped me off $80.00.
"And that's not all... Along with your INSTANT credit report, well give you 30 FREE days of the CreditCheck Monitoring Service at no obligation." This is a quote from their web page. What a bunch of lying cheats.
