Ripoff CCbill-ing problems Tempe Arizona

I found a charge on my VISA bill for $49.95. The name of "CCbill.com" was shown and a phone number. When I called that number, I was told that I could cancel, but not receive a refund of the charge.

I was told the charge was for an adult web site membership. I questioned their allowing a man to charge on a credit card that was in a woman's name. (At that time, I erroneously thought that my then-23-year-old grandson had done it.) I was told that it was done over the internet and there was no way to know that a man made the charge.

They rattled off a ridiculously long e-mail address on yahoo.com that supposedly belonged to the person who made the charge. I have called two times since then to get a refund with no return phone call, have registered a dispute of the charge with my credit card company, and am awaiting a fraud form from them.

I did not know anything about CCbill.com until I went to your website. Thank you so much for having information for people to access that shows there are others in the same boat.
