Faulty reporting ruined my credit rate, ripoff Scottsdale arizona

I have a DMB bank card. 2 yaers ago came home from work found letter from dmc stating that my account was in collections. Got on phone, dmc said sorrry it was a error, my account was in excellent standings that acct# number on letter was from someone who used to live at my adresse. I ask3ed for a letter for my records. They said yes. It never came.

60mos latter, one of my other cards was sold to fleet bank my interest rate was raised. When i called to find out they said beacuse of derogatory credit report, that they have the right to run my credit from time to time. Shortly after that alll of my rayes whent UP!

Got copy of credit reports and discovered that the eroneous acct was now on my bureau with a collection agency ccs group. Odd though this agency does not call me or write me bureaus will not remove this on just my word. I whent from 700 scores to low 600. The irony of it all is that at the time io was recovering from throat cancer and a lawyer suggested that i file bankrutcy but i just could not do it. I exausted my savings to MAKE all of my payments on time to proctect my GOOD CREDIT RATING?

I have wrote more letters than i care to for no avail. I have not been able to purchase anything at decent rates 3 years ago i could get o% on a car not today. Little did i know what was in store for me that day i opebed the mail.
