Ripoff, wont stand behind work, audits, dont care, beware

We had shahan/walsh make out our taxes a couple of years ago, and they screwed up a bunch of it resulting in an irs audit. At the time, they didnt know what could be deducted, then decided to deduct a bunch of stuff, which apparently isnt deductible with the irs.

When notified of the audit, they said, "do what you can" and proceded to duck any and all responsibility blaming the errors on us... We had an 8/1/05 deadline to refile the tax forms with corrections, had the paperwork to them a week early, and they said when presented with the issue.."we arent worried about the irs deadline."

When asked what am i gonna tell the irs when they call wondering about where the new paperwork was they said "i dont know." when asked about the interest penalty they said "who cares?" well its my money, so i care.

Ill never use these people for another thing. They displayed poor customer service and relations and generally dont seem to care if youre satisfied or not as long as they can provide an excuse that the issue is YOUR fault.

I am going to tell every person i see for the next 30 days about what ripoffs they are whether i know that person or not... Beware of shahan/walsh and associates...
