Poor internet, Poor Customer Service, Rude people, No Credits on Account

We have had mediacom for several years and these people have got to be the rudest, hateful people ever. Our internet works maybe a few days out of the month & when it doesnt & we want credit they say, "it shows you have been online!" Well, its funny to me that we can try to get online & I do everything they say we should like, "reset it" by unplugging our modem (which happens to be the 6th one) & it still doesnt work.

They go and do whatever it is that they do, after being on hold for 45 min. Or so and it works for a few hours then, blam its offline again. They promise to credit you after complaining several times and you get your bill and they hadnt taken nothing off your bill.

You call & complain and hey, you never called and they didnt know that youve had 6 modems. No record of calls, no record of 6 modems. So then you decide to get Directv and next thing you know you call them to say you are cancelling your cable, & (your internet is working finally then) and when you get off the phone with them all of a sudden your internet isnt working.

A person is paying almost $50.00 for crappy internet alone & they dont care whether you have it or not all they care about is whether you pay your bill or not. We live in an area that can only be serviced by satellite or these guys.

Its pretty ridiculous how these people can charge what they charge and us as consumers receive the crap we get. And the "customer service" does not exist with this company. Whatever you do, dont get mediacom, the people are rude, youre holding for a long time & theres no resolutions.

And, if you have a bad modem 9 times outta 10, youre gonna get another bad one because they themselves refurbish them and a worker told me that. It probably wont work anyway.
