Ripoff fees and practices. Please post Alternatives Nationwide

I have a rip off story like many others on here and I am looking for alternatives to Banks rip off practices. Please post your ideas for all to read.

I know that the only way most of us can get even with these rip off pratices is to not let the Banks use or money to make money and let ourselves be in a position to be charged NSF and over draft fees.

Here is what I have done.

1. Close my old account.
2. Open a savings account with no checks or plastic.
3. Keep just enough money in the savings account to not be charged a fee to cash pay checks etc.
4 Pay all purchases with cash or send money orders. Which is a few dollars a month in stamps and cost for money orders.

5. Next I will get a saving deposit box so I don't have any large sums of money on me.

What do I hope to acomplish?

NO bank fees
No NSF or OD fees
No unauthorized high interest loans that the Banks call (customer service) but are nothing more then Mafia style interest rates...
No fraud checks
No service fees
No ID theft agaist my account
No ruined Credit

We can't beat the big banks by just complaining. We have to take action that takes there power to control us away from them.

I won't make any differents to the banks but if thousands of mad customers do this? Well we will have to wait and see? But we no longer get robbed by these banks.
