Ripoff

I was contacted via telephone January 31 by an operator #347 of Spectra Financial Benefits. I was sold on a credit card with 0% interest with a credit limit of $2000. I was assured this was a guaranteed already approved card and that my account would be debited a one time fee of $279 on a scheduled date of February 9. I was given a verification number which I also have in my records and was told to expect the card in the mail within the next thirty days.

I was deployed with the military before the thirty days so I expected to find it in my mail when I returned. Now seven months later there has been no card received, only some coupons and a letter promising "Your MasterCard has been ordered and you will be receiving it within 25 business days of receiving this letter. Please make sure to keep your eyes open for this to arrive in the mail..." The letter is dated March 21.

I have left multiple messages on the customer service answering system with no response.
