Credit card offer with $2000.00 would take $249.00 out of bank within 10 days would receive mastercard within 25 working days ripoff

We were contacted by a foreign speaking man named Michael who said we had been approved for a mastercard with a 2000.00 limit. They would deduct $249.00 from bank acct. Within 10 days and we would receive mastercard with in 25 business days.

We were transferred to a woman name of mariah who asked a few questions then were told to call 1-866-642-9465 for customer service. It was a recording that gave hours of operation but not once did it give a company name.

We went online to verify this company and this was the first site we pulled up. We immediately called our bank and spoke with their fraud dept. And hopefully put a stop to all of this.

Next we will go to www.ftc. Gov to file a fraud claim and maybe file an identity theft report.
