Ripoff, dishonest

I had a card through providian over 7 years ago. It had been stolen about 6months after we got the card. I had reportd it stolen as soon as I had found that it was stolen. The company told me that it was not there problem.

I got phone calls from them for about 3 months after telling me to buy cheaper food for my children and to sell my stuff in my house to pay for the card,
after that I had not heard from the company up until about 7months ago when they took me to court over the whole thing. I had tried to set up payments with the company and they wouldn't work with me since I am the only person in my house hold that can work.

The company golio and associates were very demanding that we make min payments of 200.00 a paycheck I told them I could aford about 50.00 besides letting them know that I did call the company at the time and reported it stolen. They told me that wasn't their problem.

So now unknowing to me there is a court order for at first 25 percent of my check which was only receiving 300. Of my paycheck for a month that's not really much to live on when you have 3 kids and other bills. Know they're only suppose to take 15 percent but I don't feel this whole thing is right because I had not heard from the company for over 6 and a half years thinking that the whole thing was resolved and well getting slapped in the face and saying you owe us 1500.00 and the card was only for 250. That was stolen.
