Ripoff escrow tack on & late fees

My problems first started when I signed the paper saying that my previous mortage company could sell my loan to another company. They said it can save you money. Well after my loan was sold to three differend companies in a three month span, Ocwen finally ended up with it. Then the real B.S. Began.

I have a disabality and he got real sick back in april 04. He spent almost 4 months in a childrens hospital in St. Louis. I was workin 5 days a week and spending my weekends in St. Louis. As anybody would know it was creating a big mess in my finances. I missed a payment in August. I thought no big deal I would pay a extra 200 dollars a month when he got better. I called ocwen telling them I would me missing the payment and the lady said no problem we understand just try to catch it up as soon as you can.

She did not tell me that I would have to pay late charges every month on the missed payment (32.00) I have been busting my butt trying to pay them more then the 200 I promiced. Then I get a letter saying my escrow was short and my payment would be goin up another 200 dollars. I was sending 900 a month already and now needed to send a regular payment of 950.17 plus the 200 extra on the missed payment.

I called them and GOD FORBID YOU GET A PERSON WHO SPEAKES ENGLISH. Im sorry I understand everybody deserves a job in this country but please learn our english better. I had a guy that after I asked him to repeat himself for about 30 min he hung up on me. So I called back, waited another 30 min. To get somebody and they spoke english worse then the last person. So I thought if I can get my escrow stopped I can put that money into a savings and make my own interest anf pay my taxes myself. They told me I cant stop paying my escrow untill I make the 975.00 up that is supposedly short.

I asked to speak with their escrow dept. And was told they do not have a phone number there just a fax number. So I faxed a letter asking to stop my escrow and to please call me because I was told their dept. Has no phones. What the F&*K is goin on here. I have been trying all my life to have a nice home to call mine. And now I have a company that is trying to call it OCWEN. I GIVE UP now it is time to sell the house just to get away from them Im just wondering how bad they are goin to stick it to me to get away from them.
