Usa Credit
Ripoff misrepresentation, uncooperative

Business & Finance

I applied for the usa credit card about 4 years ago. It wasn't until I received the packet in the mail that I discovered it could only be used for their merchandise. I promptly contacted the company and after a lenghty discussion, decided to keep the program. What's $199 if it will help me rebuild my credit, right?

Wrong!!!

I was given $200 in vouchers which I was told could be used on my first order to offset the enrollment fee. However, when I tried to use them, I was told I could only use 1 $50 voucher PER ORDER. This was not in my welcome packet, nor was this diclosed during phone conversations.

Then I tried to buy something on the website and could not use the card for it. Of course by this time, I had exhausted my 30 day trial and am now stuck with a card that cannot be used and am $199 poorer.

This program was completely misrepresented. Trust me, I read the fine print and these things were not disclosed. This company scams those who put their trust in other humans and who expect honesty and decency. Unfortunately many have learned the hard way, always check with the BBB before giving your information or accepting a service.
