Liars, frauds and thieves!

My husband and I filed for Ch. 13 bankruptcy. On the same day, I got a letter from Triad stating they were going to repo our truck. I called and was told by Christian that they are going to repo the truck if I don't give them a payment. I told him we had filed for Ch. 13. He said they need the money now and asked me where the truck was. I agreed to do a check by phone. I called my lawyer about this. She said what he did was illegal because we're under bankruptcy protection. She told me to call Christian back and stop the automatic check. I did.

I called my lawyer to let her know I did this and to let her know what Christian said to me. 4 days later the charge is on my bank statement. Called my lawyer again. She said to come down and sign an affidavit of what transpired. At her office we called Triad and spoke with Christian. He said he had no record of me calling. She explained to him that I had called her right after talking to him and he still said he had no record of me calling him. He told me and my lawyer that the money would be in my bank in 48 hours. At 4PM this afternoon the money should be there.

I just called my lawyer and she is giving him until 3PM and she is going to call him back. I'm also going to go to my bank to get a form to fill out about the fraudlent transaction. My bank said for me to fax the form back to them. This I will do this afternoon. I wonder if we should keep this truck or let it go. I was assured by my lawyer that this won't happen agian. What these companies do to people is inexcusable and I cannot understand why there are no regulations governing these financial institutions.
