Charged Triple for Propane and Cut Off Before the Weekend

Thompson Gas is a Rip Off and is just plain nasty to their customers!

They over charge for propane gas, 3x as much as other gas companies, and God help you if you get laid off and can't make a payment on your plan for a month! They cut you off on a Friday on purpose so they can charge an outrageous fee to turn your gas on again within 24 hours or you will have to wait until the following Monday to have heat again, freezing your buns over the weekend!

If you lose your job and can't pay your plan amount for a month, well then you have to pay thousands in full - no exaggeration, or your heat will never be turned on again. It's happened to me 2 times in the last 8 years. They are crooks and they couldn't care less if you're jobless and freezing in January and February.

I have had to buy an electric 2 burner stove top to cook, and to boil water to bathe. It's absurd. My bill is now almost $5,000 with fees and over due bills for Dec, Jan, Feb! Who pays 5 grand for 3 months of propane gas? Who can? Guess I'm still going to be boiling water to bathe... These guys are crooks!!
