1st Convenience Bank
Bank threatened to close accounts because I received a check that they say did not clea

Business & Finance

I received a check and deposited it into one of the two (2) accounts I have. I received wrtten correspondence saying the check would not be credited.

I later, today, received a letter telling me that both of my accounts would be closed. The letter was sent through regular mail... But had information listed on the letter stating that both letters were sent certified - with the same number.

The client is penalized when they receive a check that doesn't clear. The letter was signed by Hannah Lee, with no title given. When I called the numbers listed, I got customer service and they were baffled and advised to go into the branch.

I tried calling the branch, in Pearland, Texas in Food Town @ 7121 Broadway. No answer.

I 'm thinking FCB is guilty olf 1) mail fraud for sending the letter regular mail and stating it was Certfied AND 2) Defamation of Character if any block is placed on my ability to open other accounts.

I will try to get in touch with the Chairman of the Board, Terry Tuggle, if this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will also receive postings for comment.
