I was taken for a ride by a Fraudulent Credit Card Scam ripoff

I was contacted by a person from Centurion Financial. Her name was Jackie telling me that I was approved for a Mastercard in the amount of 2500 dollars. I had asked her how she got my name and she told me that I had applied for a Master Card sometime ago. I told that I did not recall her company's name.

So, she had stated that I had applied sometime in the past year and that now with my current credit history I am able to get a Master Card. She explained to me as well that there will be no monthly fee, no interest for 3 years and because I was going to pay 249.00 she said they would waive the annual fee.

After Dina took my SS# and my bank information. She then told me that I had to hold for a moment while she connected me to the verification department to complete the offer. So, a man came online and he introduced himself as Robert Holman from the verification department to get my approval code. He also said that I had to be recorded or it was illegal. He also connected me with an automated recording and all I had to do was to respond after the beep and he said that after that I would get an approval code. He also mentioned that he would be also assisting me me just in case I had any problems.

So, I went through the whole verification process and he gave me an approval code, and then he said that my card will me delivered within 7 to 10 business days or maybe a little bit more due to the holidays. He asked me if I had the phone number to Customer Service so he gave that number to me 866-784-0260. I have been trying to call that number and I have tried to leave several messages with them but no one has returned my phone calls. That is what prompted me to look further into this " so called company " just to find out that other people got scammed almost at the same time I did.
