SYNCOM Synergetic Communications
RIPOFF unfair debt collections for Vanderbilt and Fairbanks Finance Companies

Business & Finance

I was contacted by Daphine Toliver in late 2004 in an attempt to collect a disputed claim for Vanderbilt Mortgage Company. Withing one week I sent a certified letter to SYNCOM informing them that the debt was disputted and to investigate the claim as required by the Texas Collection Practices Act.

I then took several phone calls and sent a fax demanding proof of all claims against me (work orders, reciepts, check stubs, contracts etc.) M. Toliver disregarded my demands and explained to me she would ruin my husbands military career as well as contact his chain of command. (he was deployed to Iraq at the time this started) Coincedently? His Military Security Clearance came under review. The military asked for copies of all transactions with these companies as well as a cover letter of our explanation. We gladly submitted that to the military as well as the FTC, 3 state attorney generals and the Armed Forces Diciplinary Control Board. (who determines 'black lists' and makes recommendations for the purposes of military and DOD contracts)

Thanks to usacomplaints.com for providing me with a wealth of information and research leads. Although my case is not yet resolved, I have the information and support to take them on.

Among the discoveries I have made on usacomplaints.com is choice, by 2 preditory lenders, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Fairbanks Finance, to use SYNCOM of Houston Texas to extort money for consumers. Is this a case of "Birds of a Feather Tend to Flock Together" or is there a direct link between these Companies?

It would be helpful to know in order to defend against their next tatic as well as effecting Statute of Limitations.
