Ripoff broke settlement agreement

My husband and I received a credit card from first premier bank. After finding out about the hidden fees we cancelled. They reported to the credit bureas that we owed them 400.00 and due to it ruing our credit we contatced them about settling and they agreed to 262.50. Well we paid them and 1 week later we found out they had agin reported it to the bureau that we still owe them 120.00 and when we called them they said that even though we made the settlement payment that we still owed it and it would be on our credit report for 7 years. I am tired of dealing eith them. It is time we consumers stop them from ripping people off
