Merchants Credit Guide
Rip-off!

I received a letter from Merchants Credit Guide saying I owed a master card company money. I called them and explained that I had no idea who they were. The womann said the claim was from 12 years ago. I said that I had filed bankrupcty and all my accoutns were dismissed 12 years ago. She said I would have to prove it and how would I like to pay and was extremely rude. I reminded her that under federal law, she could not harass me.

She said she could do what ever she pleased since I had called her. I asked her 7 times to put a supervisor on the phone. The supervisor said that the master card company had been sold and they were told to go after all old accounts. When I told her it was dismissed in bankruptcy she said I could dispute it but it probably wouldn't help.
