I too received a letter from Merchants Credit Guide Co, not knowing who they were and what this was about I called to find out. The man on the phone was very rude and asked if this how I ran my life running up debt and not paying the bills. I told him repeatedly that I wanted to speak to his supervisor.

He finally put me on the phone with him, I told him how rude the man was, he never apologized and asked me how I wanted to pay. I told him that I had never had a credit card with these people before. The debt was from 1994 on my maiden name.in 1994 I was married to my first husband and did not have a credit card in my hame. They were all in his.

After the first phone call I started doing research on this company and found many complaints. I since have gotten a second letter from them. What do I do about them. How can I get them to go away?
