Ripoff Offer unsecured cards for a one time fee only you never receive the unsecured card

Business & Finance

I was contacted with an offer to receive a Mastercard with a credit limit of at least 3000 dollars. All I had to do was pay a one time fee of 299.95. There were some other offers such as road side assistance that I did not want and they said all i would have to do is call and cancel when I received the packet in the mail. They billed me before I ever received the packet.

They said I would receive the card within 5 days of my account debit. 2 weeks later I had not received it. I contacted my bank for the contact info and no one ever answered the phone. I typed in the name in google and was brought to usacomplaints.com. I had been scammed.

I did finally get a hold of someone who informed me the card would be sent out next week but that I had to load money on to it. It is a secured credit card and I must have miss understood. The read the terms so fast but I specifically asked if it was for an unsecured card and that the limit would be at least 3000. They said yes so I agreed.

I contacted and closed my bank. I did not agree to let them take money out of my bank for this reason. This is fraud and I am writing this in hopes it will stop some people from accepting their offer.
