Payment not received - Care credit provide

I was nearing the end of my promotion for my eye surgery. I did not have the money in my account that I use to have payments auto deducted and the fastest way for me to get it paid off was to mail them a check. The promotion ended on 3/27, it is now 4/27 and my check has not cleared and the accrued interest had been slapped onto my balance, $1,555!! I only had $1,127 left to pay. I cannot get in touch with anyone at all. I find this to be deceptive and misleading. I have always paid over the minimum amount due and sometime twice a month. This is unacceptable. I have another "promotion" on the card that I am going to have asked removed since I haven't even had the procedure done yet.
