Scales Of Justice
Ipoff, scam, fly by night company

Greetings!
I was suckered in by a company that promised to spare me the pain of bankruptcy by instead going through "arbitration". Needless to say, after sending their forms (which they had probably stolen from some other company), I waited to see what was going to happen.
Nothing for three months.
Then I begin receiving letters in the mail that state that I will be sued for the amount of money I owe. So I call the good people at Scales of Justice, and they tell me that all I have to do is wait and "they'll take care of everything."
So I waited.
By June 1st, (I had begun the program on March 1st), Nannette Lugo (who was apparently my counselor or something) did not answer her phones nor her email. I'd already suspected that something was amiss, and began bankruptcy proceedings.
WARNING! If you hear the phrase "debt settlement", "debt elimination", or anything that even remotely sounds like this, RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE! The amount I lost ($600) could've paid for the entire bankruptcy.
