Ripoff took money without permission minnesota

Have student loan that went to allied interstate. Do not dispute the loan, tried to pay and get it taken care of, but was lied to about how they would collect the money. I was told that I had to use a checking account. I did not have one, so my husband let me use his until I could get one. Set up to pay $125 per month. Could not acquire a checking account and asked if I could make payments. They said I had to make four payments by checking account and then could set up to send in money orders.

My husband did not want to do this. He hates automatic draws. I even made two payments in one month to hurrry things along. When I called to change it they told me that I had to keep it coming out of the checking account and I could not send in money orders. I told them that I could not do that, that they no longer had permission to withdraw from my husbands account. I would contact my original lender myself.

I received harassing phone calls for months. They continued to try to withdraw money from my husbands account. My husband talked to a representative and told them that they did not have permission to withdraw and not to try anymore. I wrote a letter stating the same. We even put a stop payment on it. Last week they withdrew using a different checking number, causing bounced checks.

When I contacted them, they spent 30 min. Telling me how irresponsible I was and how they were trying to help me. (help me go out of my mind) I told them that I was handling this situation on my own with the original lender. I asked for reimbursement to my husbands account and I got a "why should we pay you for your debt". All they kept telling me was to put it in writing. I did that once. Obviously that didn't work.

Now they tell me I can make payments anyway I wish and wanted to set up a payments schedule with me. If I could have made payments by mail oringally, I never would have had to go through all this.

Why couldn't they do that in the beginning? I understand that they have a job to do, and I don't disbute my debt, but they do not know anything about my life. Who are they to judge me? The bible says that "no sin is greater then another" and that there is no one without sin. I'm sure these representative have faults of their own, yet I do not judge them. Who are they to belittle me? If I had the money, don't you think I would pay it.

I'm not trying to get a free ride, nor making excuses for my mistakes, but God is the only one that has the right to judge me. What will their judgement day hold. I am more likely to go out of my way when the person on the other end is sincere in wanting to help. We all need help, why make us feel ignorant about getting it?
