I called because I wanted to find out how to stop a cable company from drafting my account monthly and to specifically not have it take place this month because i didnt have the money and was afraid my account would go into the negative and accrue overdraft fees. First I called the company to change the draft date and they told me that my bank could take care of it for me so I called and spoke to a Rep. Who said they were doing a system enhancement on the computer and i needed to call back, but before i did that someone actually called ME back from credit card services and said he took care of it for me and i wouldnt have to cancel my atm card which i would have if needed because I really wanted to do the right thing to avoid the overdraft but he told me he took care of it and that the company would no longer be able to automatically draft my account and I went to bed happy. The next day I checked my account and it was in the negative and nothing apparently had been done so I called Chase and the rep told me that there was no records of me having spoken to anyone the night before, Nothing!!! And if i did they should have closed the atm card and issued me another one. But I really did speak to two people but It was just my word against theirs which meant nothing and it really hurt my feelings. Now I am going to close my account because I tried and it meant nothing.
