US Bank, ridiculous fees

While out of town I had a 69 cent overdraft caused by a combination of the 6.95 fee on my free account and a auto payment on my car insurance.
They did not send me any notice, but charged me 75$ in late fees for a 69 cent overdraft.
That seemed so out of line I contacted the customer service department and they just emailed me a link to their new fee schedule.
If they had not charged me a monthly fee on my no fee account, I would not have been overdrawn.
I can not believe they would not wave even part of the fees.
