Ulta
Horrid place to work!

I worked at an Ulta not even 2 full weeks, before I was let go. The excuse they gave me (lack of hours) didn't ring true to me because, not even a week after i was let go, I went back in only to find 2 girls whom were hired along with me and about 15-20 other girls working and still on the schedule, AND a WHOLE crop of new girls in the back and on the front ends of the stores working, they were new hires, and women from other stores helping out-it was the grand opening. So I, myself and the rest of the girls were all let go because "lack of hours" but they had enough hours/payroll to employ more people-there had to be at least 15 new chicks there. The GM was a BULLY!!! With the capital B!!! She screamed, roller her eyes, smacked her lips and disrespected the employees in from of the customers I might add, and would snatch merchandise from their hands-I was one of the employees to have things snatched away from me as if I were a child. That day after I was let go, a co-worker whom I worked with was still there-she was 1 of the 2 left, and she looked COMPLETELY miserable, almost as if she were gonna curse everyone that walked up to her out, on the verge of tears. I felt bad for her, because I have seen the GM yell and belittle her, she would even tell me " I just came in and i'm already being yelled at for no reason" She and many of the other employees-including myself hated the GM. The best part about that job period were the other managers and all of the employees-when I was there, they were super nice. The GM should learn to be more respectful and not bully her staff, we're the ones who have to take care of the store, satisfy customers, making it money because she was always up in her office or left early.
