Pamper experience - Groupon Spa day for two

My sister and I attended for a pamper session with a few reservations after reading some of the comments on this site. However I have to say they were totally unfounded. I never usually post things on sites such as these but felt that I really needed to say how much we both enjoyed ourselves today. The treatments we chose were massage and facials and were amongst the best we have ever experienced EVER! When we first arrived we were a little surprised at being greeted in what is, in all honesty, a hairdressers. However, the young man who was working on reception was really welcoming and friendly asking us if we wanted to wait in the salon with a drink (the choice he offered was massive!) or downstairs in the relaxation area. We were happy to stay where we were and joined in with the chat and banter that was taking place between the hairdressers and their clients. It was obvious people were made to feel very welcome and relaxed and we immediately felt comfortable. Although the therapists were running 10 minutes late they came to apologise and we were certainly kept entertained whilst waiting! When we went upstairs to the treatment rooms we had a full discussion with the therapists about what treatments we should have and I opted for the aromatherapy massage whilst my sister had the hot stones. My oils were blended specially for me as I have a few medical conditions that meant I couldnt use certain oils. We were lucky that we chose the facials as their new skin care range is really lovely (so much so I bought products to take home). After the treatments we were offered complimentary blow dries (as we had a little oil in our hair) before being taken down to the bottom floor to relax whilst having home made soup and rolls, chocolate cake and wine.

We both really enjoyed ourselves today and have booked back in in 6 weeks time for another pamper session. The salon may appear small from the outside but once inside you realise there is 4 floors and we were surprised at how big the place is if you dont mind stairs.
