Conflicting information from service reps

I spoke to a CS rep regarid a possible refund on my purchase for Nickelodeon, I found out that the 2 bedroom was really a 1 bedroom and another room w/o door and w/2twin beds. 4 Adults and 2 children were traveling and this seemed to not have enough privacy. So I inquired on the possiblity of getting a refund. I was told, "no problem, give us a call once you decide." I asked what were the requirements for getting a refund? What was the time frame? CS rep said I needed to give 3 days prior notice. That's all I was told. We deicided to stay 2 nights and get a refund on the other. Today, I called and was told by this CS rep that there was a NO REFUND policy. I could only get a refund if the hotel was not able to give me a room.

I do not understand why I would be given conflicting information from the CS Reps. If I can't depend on the information I am provided, how can I trust anything else I am told! I do not intend to use Groupon again. I would be VERY CAUSIONS before signing up for any of their trips.
