Petsmart Groomer are Confused! - G rooming services

I live in a small rural town with only one groomer. My Boston/jack russel mixed dogs were in need of a bath and serious toenail clipping. I drive to DesMoines at least once a week for Dr appts. So I thought I would take the boys with me, drop them at Petsmart then pick them up when I'm done. More than a week in advance I make the appt, fax their vet records and give the groomer all of the standard info. So I arrive that morning at 9am to a dark salon. The store manager calls the groomer and tells me she will be there at 9:30. So we wait in the car until then. We go back in and I am rudely told if I had listened to my voicemail the night before I would have know our time was 9:30! Then they ask for the dog's shots records. I tell them the vet faxed them over a week ago. So I drag the dogs back outside to get the vets # from my cell. So again we wait in car about 20 min. I am about to call them when the groomer is at my car! She says "Why don't you answer phone? The vet says they don't know you or your dogs!" So I call the vet and they tell me that Miss Groomer called and asked about "Frankie Venner and her dogs Boston & Jack"!!! I am Franni Vermeer and the dogs are Trapper & Hawkeye! Plus they had a wrong call ph # for me! If I had any other place to take them during my doctor appt, I would have! They tell me girl who took all my info had since been fired so all the mistakes were not their fault. I told the story to the floor manager; he said "sorry" but also told me that no one had been fired there for several months. So I asked "Arebthe liars now too? 8 got a shoulder shrug! At that point you would think that I would be offered an upgrade or a discount, but no. When I picked them up they didn't smell as fresh as the in-town rural groomer made them but their nails were nice and short. But they had them in separate cages which I had asked them not to do. My dos are litter mate brothers and get sad& scared if they are not togethers. The dogs practically dragged out of the store! In conclusion, I will avoid this Petsmart like the plague and YOU SHOULD TOO!!!
