After reading your Cabelas mail flier received last week, we were interested in shopping for several of the advertised products. Your flier stated the Post Falls store hours on Sunday was 9AM - 6PM.

Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, we also planned a special treat for an elderly family member who is wheelchair-bound, living in an assisted living facility, and who has never visited your interesting store. We traveled several miles only to find a sign in the front door explaining the store was closed on Easter. There was no mention in your flier stating this closure. There was a parade of vehicles into your parking lot also planning a visit to shop. There were plenty of folks, who were disappointed and, in clear language, plenty pissed. We all used very high cost gasoline to get there and back home - all for naught. There should be no reasonable need to phone long distance to verify the store hours stated in your flier.

I have no argument with a decision to give employees a holiday day off. Was this a delayed or emergency decision preventing reliable information regarding Easter closure in your flier? Better planning and communication in the future may prevent poor community relations for your store.

Reliable communication is a very valuable business asset, and assuming we can expect such in the future, we will hope our elderly, disabled family relative will be able to visit the charm of your Post Falls store.
