I have had Direct TV for many years. Made the mistake of "bundling" with ATT
Put up with ATT screwed up billing for a year then cancelled. Called Direct TV about 3 weeks ago to re-install —I have a very expensive 5.1 audio system in my house —it worked very well before we cancelled. It seems engineering decided to eliminate the optical connection in their new satellite receiver boxes so now my 5.1 is only 2.1 (no surround sound)—they tell me they will have it fixed "this week"... Hope springs eternal!!!
