$200 early termination fee after 17 months, deceptive practices

I have the same problem with DirecTv that many others have, deceptive practices. After paying $200 for a DVR I canceled the service about 17 months later. I was advised that I was going to be charged $200 early termination fees. Avoid this company at all costs. Here's their BBB rating:
