Shady free promos - Fraud

As a customer of DirecTV for 10 years I received a phone call offering me a free promotional of free movie and NFL channels for 6 months. I was told if I liked the service I would automatically be billed, however if I chose to not continue with the additional package I would need to call and cancel. Ignoring my better judgement I accepted the trial and after 5 months called and canceled. I assumed I would need to give a 30 day notice. Well on my next statement my bill jumped from 79.99 to 191 per month! I called thinking this must be a mistake and should be easily cleared up. Well was I ever wrong. After being told I was being charged (which ended up being around 110) for cancelling the Free promotion early I asked to speak to a supervisor who repeated the same explanation. I once again asked to speak to someone else and was again told that I was basically paying an early termination fee for canceling the free promotion early and that i had signed up to pay 4 more installments of 59.99 for the NFL package. I told them I never signed up for the NFL package but had rather asked to have it removed. I was then asked if I remembered signing up for it (ahhhh). Later they offered me 50, I said no you owe me 110. Then I was offered 75, again I said no you owe me 110. Then I was told that 100 was his "last and final offer". AHHHHHHHH I've been an on time paying customer for 10 years (10 years x 12 months x 80 per month = 9600 that I've given this company and they can't credit me 110 for a mistake that they made!
