UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE - Satellite Service

I would like to say that Direct Tv is definitely in it for themselves and not the consumer. I had just recieved their services October 07. I decided later in the year round December that I wanted to relocate. I called them and explained that I needed the service to be disconnected and transfered to a new residence. They inform me since I had not had the service for over a year that it would cost me $50.00 to transfer service. I informed the representative to cancel the service because I can use that for cable tv within the city. Now I was told I would recieve a final bill in the mail. Two months later I'm looking over my bank statements and notice that their company has withdrawn $385.00 from my account. I call them up and they inform me that I was charged an early termination fee and for the equipment. Not once did the representative say that these charges wou;d be incrued. But my concern is the company just went and debited my account without my permission. The only reason why I was unable to notice the charges because it was around the time my taxes were deposited. I reported it to my bank and put in a claim for fraud. This is not just some random act that should be left alone. I hope now people will see that everything is not good as it sounds.
