I am very unhappy with the racial stereotypes appearing more and more frequently on your channel, such as in the show "Jessie". I am of the belief that my younger sister doesn't need to be subject to those sort of hackneyed, stereotypical personifications. To me, creating characters with such cliche cultural traits in no way displays multiculturalism, because it relies on the ethnic differences to turn them into caricatures. Yes, perhaps it is a response to the caucasian dominated shows we see in
the Western world but if you oversimplify and make a joke out of the other cultures you're displaying, how is this changing anything?
I'm 17, and yet I'm also disgusted by the materialistic, shallow nature of so many of your characters. Shows seem to focus on spoilt, arrogant teens/tweens that appear to live in perfect contentment because of their wealth.
Maybe you're just trying to keep up with a rapidly changing target audience, but in the process you're exacerbating the problems with today's youth.
