Disney Channel
Completely inappropriate! - Wizards of Waverly Place

TV & Radio

My daughter, soon to be 8, has been watching Disney Channel since she was 1. Yes, 1. Disney was the only appropriate programming I could find for a child her age without resorting to those creepy "Teletubbies".
The shows used to be great, but I've noticed a trend since "Hannah Montana":
Since Disney Channel discovered their "Gold Mine" in portraying young teen stars like Miley Cyrus as nothing less than wanton SLUTS, every show has completely gone down the toilet. From Zack and Cody to Wizards, I am completely APPALLED at the direction that Disney Channel programming/writing has gone. Are you people even aware that your main audience is 1 to 10 years old??? I know of NO preteens that actually watch Disney Channel. Nickelodeon is so far gone I'm not even going to bother them. "Good Luck Charlie" is nothing more than Teddy trying to get some tongue! Something has to be done, and done SOON!!! And BTW, while I'm at it, why does every white person sidekick have to be portrayed as a complete MORON? Annaliesa Van Der Pol, Jason Dolly, Max, Jake T. Austin... The list goes on. I've had issues with that for 7 years now. It's a shame I had to write to this page, since Disney Channel had no contact info for complaints on their site.

Thanks,
