Cable box freezes and sound cuts out

Comcast (Xfinity) is the worst company ever! While watching a show the cable box freezes or the sound just goes off and the remote does nothing when I try to use it. When I move I will NOT be getting Comcast! Verizon Fios will be getting a new customer!
