I booked a ticket for my husband for Jan 29 by EVAAIR thru the phone, his name is Niko approx. At 12 mn on Jan. 5 very pleasant, states I will get my confirmation thru email in 3 hrs. Several times I confirmed the price for Canadian dollars1172.16. The next day, the price dropped down and I called for a price drop adjustment, I spoke with Burt and informed him that in Canadian site, of Cheapoair including promo code of CA15 will reduce the price to CA$1117.16 so he told me that he will refund CA$55. When I checked the details of my booking, I noticed that i was charged in US$ initially for US$1239.11. I called again and spoke with Bradley and I requested to speak with Niko or to the supervisor and took my phone no. And said that i will get a call in an hour. Two hours had passed, no call back so I spoke again to another person, Brook and states that they i can cancel and they will refund the money. I told her that even if they will refund the money I will be on the losing side because i am charged of conversion from CA$ to USD
and I lost the chance of purchasing a cheaper price and I am cheated for charging in US dollar where in fact USD is higher than CA$. Supervisor Russ is again offering me to cancel my booking and get a full refund, and I asked him to connect me to the manager Stephie and kind enough to hear my side and asked her to investigate and listen to our taped conversation/booking with Niko. I am hoping that a positive resolution will be attained as we the consumers are always on the losing side. I am awaiting a call within 48 hours. Sonia from Toronto, Canada
