Ripoff DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR Credit Card #! I have many fraudulant charges after I gave them mine!

I recieved a notice in the mail that attracted my attention and thought I would call to find out what it was about. I spoke with a man, I remember his name only because it is my nephews name, and he explained this wonderful vacation package that I was very interested in and led me to believe his company was honest and responsible by telling me the Ramada resorts have been around for ages and there was nothing to be leary about. So I decided that I wanted to discuss it with my husband since $698 was a lot of money to spend on my own without his consent. He interupted me by saying that there is only one call per household and that I couldn't call back. Which I should have seen right through it then when he said that, but very foolishly he said let me see what I can do.

When he got back on the line he said that he talked with his supervisor and if I am willing to give my credit card number to hold the order I could call back and that if I decided not to go through with it then they would rip up my credit card number and that would be the end of it.

I told him that IF my husband decided to go ahead with the trip I would call him back. Well, After discussing it with him, we decided against it because of a bad feeling and the fact that we had just gotten back from a vacation the week before.

The next day I had recieved 6 or 7 phone calls from 2 different men from the Ramada resort wanting to know if I made my decision. The next day I recievd 6 or 7 more calls and the next day was repeated, Finally I called them back to say we had decided against it. And the man I spoke with was very nice and understanding and I asked him to remove my credit card number from his computer. I hung up and thought everything was fine until the next month when I got my credit card statement and there were 7 different AT&T long distance calls made on my credit card from none other than FT. Lauderdale florida, the SAME city and state where I gave my credit card info. I will be turning this complaint into the BBB and anywhere else I can find that needs to know.

STAY AWAY from things like this and if you get a phone call from them hang up! Or a notice in the mail throw it away! I dont know if this is a scam or if they just have very irresponsible people working there, but Stay far away. And whatever you do DO NOT give them your credit card number. I had to cancel mine to stop all of the charges that kept appearing.
