Poor Service/Cleanliness/Room doesn't lock

Operating cross-country we chose to remain in the Elkhart, IN Econolodge for that evening. Because we arranged the area online the night time of our stay we were informed that it had been nonrefundable. We reach the resort to see they set us in a "pet-friendly" space that smelled highly of pet urine. Whenever we attempted to obtain a distinct space the leading desk worker stated they did not have every other areas. We thought we're able to reside using the odor because it had been overdue and we were waking up early. We provide our bags into our space and closed the doorway. I tried securing it but to no avail.in a deeper examination, I recognized the doorway does not actually capture and you will drive it available in the exterior with no key-card. The woman at the front end table did not speak English perfectly therefore it was difficult to clarify the problem from her. Used to donot get much rest that evening, clearly...
