Email Scam - Home Away

We located a villa in Punta Cana to rent through Home Away. We sent email back and forth to the "owner". Signed and faxed contracts and wired full amount. It turns out that the email contact was not the owner and we lost all of our money. Home Away emailed us tat they can CONFIRM the owners email acct. Was breached. I contacted the owner and he had not even been contacted by Home Away. How can they confirm his private email was breached if they didn't even contact him? It is obvious the the Home Away system was hacked and they claim they bear no responsibility since it is the owners issue. This is definitely not an owners issue. It is a securrity issue at Home Away. Let the lawsuit begin.
