Ripoff, deceitful, sleezy business, cancelled reservation after confirming

Wainiha Hale Vacation Rental, Hanalei Hawaii

The owner of this B&B, Wainiha Hale Vacation, Dr. Larry Reichle, confirmed our reservation for New Year's week, accepted our deposit, processed the credit card payment, and then two weeks later cancelled the reservation. When asked to restore the reservation two days later, Dr. Reichle responded that the apartment had already been rented.

It is obvious that Dr. Reichle had a higher paying customer and wanted to get more rent from someone else. Once a deposit has been taken, a rental contract is in place and Dr. Reichle had no legitimate basis to cancel it.

I would advise against renting any property from Wainiha Hale or from Dr. Reichle. I would advise against doing business with either.
