Charged for two flights to the same destination for the same day - flight booking

I booked a flight to Florida online but after 24 hours did not get a confirmation e-mail. So I called Orbitz I gave them all of the information My destination, my full name. My phone numbers and my credit card. The agent supposedly looked for my booking. But he said he could not find any booking for me. I then booked a flight to Florida with him. When my credit card bill came I have charges for both bookings. I have called and spoke with Orbitz three times and they are not willing to give me my money back. I feel that with all the information that they were given they should have found my origional online booking. If they would have been doing there job a second booking would not have been made. I understand that the airline will not refund even though they probably put someone in the seat. I feel that Orbitz is responsible for this second booking. They have stated that I typed in the e-mail incorrectly but that can%u2019t be the only way to locate a record. Orbitz indicated that all the calls were recorded and someone would call me back within 6 days. This also is not true. I have made several call to orbitz but with each call the offer gets worse.
