Ripoff refund checks bounce

After quoting a flight ticket, the agent (Manny Randhawa in Northern California) insist you pay cash upfront at one of their offices; otherwise, they would charge an extra 5% for credit card transactions.
Most choose to pay cash, or cashiers's check to save the 5% charge. They are promised that the ticket will take several days to arrive.
After weeks of waiting, the ticket never arrives, and when you call them, they lie to the customer through excuses which are not true.

For example, they talk of a 'waiting list' to get the tickets processed by the airline chosen, or that the airline in Asia is closed due to time
differences. Reputed travel agents know that such is not true. There is no such thing as a wait to get tickets issued. It is all based on when the travel agent submits the payment. I was ripped off $1360 for a flight ticket to India which did not arrive; I have spoken with several victims this year as well. Just call any of the other Indian agencies
and ask about what they think of MandK travel, and they will confirm what I am saying. Please don't purchase tickets from this travel agency Some of MandK Travel practices, and the way they can get away with it are:

A. The office is always closed. There are no walkins.; and nobody is there during the day or night. B. All clients contact MandK travel by phone; they are then told to pay cash at the specified address, and a specified time.
C. The agent goes to the office only to receive the next victim. The door remains closed. As soon as the client comes in and provides the payment; the agent leaves. (He/she is there only to collect the cash; not to issue tickets or make reservations).
D. Their phone practices is that whenever a new potential client calls on the phone, they are very friendly and get back to you by phone.
Once they have your money, it is hard to reach the agent. He or she is out of the office and they will tell you that the specified agent will be later in the day. Once you reach the agent she will say that the tickets are on the waiting list. All of the members are of the same family, and it
consists of Father (Paul) (owner who is never visible) / mother Debbie (agent collecting the money) and two sons (helping answer phone calls and making excuses to customers).
E.in addition of not delivering tickets, they wiill charge fees for tickets that were never issued to the airline. They will say that the airline will charge you the fee; in reality it goes to their own pocket.
F. When the customer gets frustrated of waiting for their tickets; some get irritated to the point of anger. The agent will call the police on the customer to ward off the customers. The majority of the clients being ripped off are Indian NRI who do not want to cause trouble here; so they shy away from going to the authoritiess.
G. Refund checks issued by MandK travel are bogus. They bounce.
