Magical Memory Vacations (AKA-A1 Travel Reservations) ripoff-fraud-demand payment up front and don't deliver-unable to contact via phone-bait and switch

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM MAGICAL MEMORY VACTIONS (now known as A1 Travel Reservations) I called a number solicited to me via fax to inquire about the vacation. The sales person (the sales company, as I find out much later, is a totally seperate company) I spoke with said she gauranteed me confirmation of my travel via fax by the end of the day.

She said she would personally take care of it. She then asked me to verify everything via a recorder and said to answer "yes". She said they will ask you if you were promised anything in addition, but just say you haven't and I will get you confirmation by the close of business. Needless to say, I never received confirmation. After numerous unreturned calls to the sales company and a week later, I finally found out that the sales person lied to me.

In fact the vaction reservation form was supposably lost and they needed me to fax it again. I asked for my money (charged on credit card) to be returned immediately. They said that this was impossible. They said it is not company policy to refund once you have paid for a vacation. I cancelled payment on my card and received threatening letter from the company regarding lawsuits and collections. The letter state that they would have refunded the money. They have purgered themselves with that statement.

Check the Better Business Bureau of Florida website and other enteries on this and other consumer sites. This is a terrible company. Any company that demands payment before providing confirmation (including names of hotels and travel they will be providing) to you should be avoided. I'm sorry I ever made the call to Magical Memory Vacations (A1 Travel Reservations). They left me with a memory, but it is far from magical.
