False promises for earning miles with BROKEN LINKS Internet

Shop True is the online store associated with the Jet Blue True Blue rewards program. Through this store, you click on links to major retailers and earn points for your purchases at these other online identities.

Unfortunately, many of the links are broken. No matter how many times you click, the link does not work.

However, there is a record on your account of when you clicked on a specific store to shop at. I assumed, which we all know is a problem, that since there is a record of me clicking the link, and a record of my purchase (i.E. A receipt), that I could contact True Blue and they could update my account with the extra miles I earned through my purchases.

I was wrong.

According to customer service at True Blue: "You had stated that you tried to use the link through your JetBlue ShopTrue membership and it did not work. We have an agreement with the merchants that all purchases must be made using our links. Without tracking confirming this purchase was made using our links the purchase is not eligible to earn points."

So let me clarify: Because the links on the Shop True site are faulty, I do not receive points for my purchase. They have records of me trying to use their links, a copy of my receipt from the same date, and they will not help me. As the customer, I am being punished for their technology malfunction.

This is a post in response to my last 7 purchases through Shop True not posting points to my account for various reasons. This is ridiculous. Don't host a store offering bonus miles to your customers if you don't actually want to give miles to your loyal customers.
