They canceled flight and wont return my money wont even return my email Internet

I had a confirmed flight with airtransat for 6 weeks conformation code Y927QG.
They canceled the flight and will not respond to telephone or emails asking for my money
back $ 983.36 is a big rip off for me. I was told by aarp/expedia who booked the flight that they would return the money. They ignore emails and i waited on hold for over 45 minutes, three different times.
